Stabilizer Bush Replacement for Toyota Wish ZGE20 at Z Sen


Stabilizer bush come in 2 unit, lef and right. Time taken to replace is 1 hour ++. I noticed that the stabilizer link need to be detached to enabled the  bush to be fitted.

Below are the pictures.

Damaged : RM100  ( parts and labour are included in the replacement of the bush)

This is the real slit OEM, not because of cracking or due to wear and tear .










A glimpse where Z Sen is located. Not so many car serviced or had the parts replaced when I was here. So it didn't take long for engine oil-filter change and stabilizer bush replacement. All those was done on 4th March 2022.

Toyota Wish 2009 ZGE20,  Minor Service  and oil change in Johor Bahru for Second time.     Here we go again, brought my car for oil change at this workshop  Pusat Servis Kereta Z Sen, located at Jalan Susur Tun Abdul Razak. Some say its near the tangki air. Yeah, right its behind the workshop.    I brought my own Engine Oil and oil filter bought from the famous City Spare Part also not so far from this workshop . Just 5km away from Z Sen. This is my second time done oil change here. Above picture the old, used oil filter.

DIY How to know if your Toyota Wish ZGE20 car alternator have problems?

Wish ZGE20 alternator  A few weeks ago my Toyota Wish ZGE20 have weird sound coming out from the engine bay.     So I cranked the engine and opened the engine bay. Seems like the sound came from the alternator. I strongly suspected it came . Upon closer inspection to the alternator I found sorts of brown powder stick to the outer casing of the alternator  and other engine parts around it. There was also loud shrieking noise coming out from the alternator. I guessed it was the faulty bearing  and man. i send the car to a workshop in Jalan Dedap, Taman Melodies and I was correct when the mechanic do some inspection and found out the bearing was almost destroyed. Fortunately the voltage produced was not affected too much and it explained why the car can be started and no battery warning light emitted.
